The first stage of the block paved driveway cleaning process is to clear any debris from the surface and treat any larger weeds if necessary. We then clean the surface using one of our industrial rotary pressure washing machines.
The machines we use are built to an extremely high standard with Honda powered motors. This enables a quick and efficient way of cleaning hard surfaces without the 'streaking' normally associated with domestic pressure washers. Any tough weeds are removed with the high pressure lance or specialist block paving wire brushes.

After cleaning and allowing the surface to dry out we apply special kiln dried sand which is brushed back in between the block paving. This is necessary as it keeps the blocks locked in and it tops up any sand lost during the cleaning process. Re-sanding the blocks is essential because if not done the integrity of the structure of the paving will be lost and large gaps will appear between blocks over time.

As a separate finish to your surface and to prolong its life even further we can apply a specialist driveway polymer based sealant. This can be either applied with a roller or sprayed on depending on the surface. This seals the whole area to further help prevent staining and moss/algae growth. The sealants we use are tough, durable and resilient and come in both matt and gloss finish in order to truly enhance the colour of your drive.
Tarmac driveways can be vastly improved by the application of our specialist 'back to black' tarmac paint/sealant. This restores the black
colour of the tarmac whilst at the same time helping to bind the aggregates within the tarmac together prolonging its life. This tarmac paint and sealant in one can also be successfully applied to concrete drives to create a more aesthetic look.
We have both cold and hot water pressure washers depending upon the requirements of each job. Our hot water steam cleaners are generally used for the removal of graffitti and other staining.
